A visit to the Fire Brigade Centre

Part One

Accidents inside school environment can cause various injures between simple to harmful ones. There are different types of accidents that can happen inside school environment. So it is very important to know how to protect the life of the students, the stuff and the workers inside the school. That is why we arranged a trip to the Fire Brigade Centre (Fire Department) in Barka. The students were happy during the trip. They also get the benefits from this trip. This trip was part of my plan for my students to know how to react when the school building is on fire.In the coming weeks we will hold a workshop inside the school about safety inside school building as well as an interview with the head of "the safety" society inside the school. I attached a report of the trip which was written by a student as well as some pictures taken by some students.

The Meeting- IEARN Projects

I hold a meeting with my students as a way to introduce the two projects to them. During the meeting we discuss the following points:

·        IEARN aims and the projects

·        The aims and the description of the two projects

·        How to apply IEARN projects inside the school as well as the methods

·        Dividing the work among the participants according to their interests

The following pictures are taken during the meeting. Students were enthusiastic about the two projects. They were happy to know that they are going to publish their work in the forum to be seen by other people. During the coming days I am going to post some of students work. Staring with celebrating "The Global Tree Day".

Vision & Mission

This blog "Vision and Mission" was established to put IEARN projects in action with my students inside our school. I think most of you now think why I chose this title from my blog. In fact I chose this title because it is related to the two projects that I chose from IEARN Projects . The two projects that I chose are "Students Unlimited" and" Images of Caring" where students have to participate positively in solving the problems inside their community. They also have to do community services. Moreover, they have to show their sense of caring about the environment and the planet. It may sound like a big job but together we can do it. Our aim is to help everyone we come across inside or outside the school's building. We will be helping in the form of cleaning, planting, delivering, donating, advising students and people in their community by holding workshops and aimed campaigns.

I am going to with the help of the students to combine the idea of the two projects in one logo.
